Speaker
Dr Lachlan Crowther - Orthodontist
BDSc (Hons)(Qld) MDSc (Hons)(Ortho)(Syd) MOrtho RCS (Ed) MRACDS (Ortho)
Lachlan earned honours at UQ in 2002 before working as a Senior Dentist in rural Queensland. He later obtained a Masters in Orthodontics from the University of Sydney and founded Edge Orthodontics in Brisbane. Lachlan has also lectured at the University of Queensland, specialising in lingual orthodontics. He has a keen interest in emerging technologies, including aligner systems and custom digital bonding. Lachlan’s practice has utilised intra-oral scanning for appliance manufacturing since 2013 and introduced an in-house 3D printer system in 2020.
